Magnets

Every box comes with 4 experiments. They are attract and repel, magnetic attraction, magnetic compass, magnetic levitation. Magnets are objects that can attract certain materials, especially iron and steel and other magnets. The force that comes from magnets is called magnetism. Magnetism can act between magnetic or metal objects at a distance or when they are touching. All magnets have an invisible magnetic field that flows from pole to pole. These poles are called North and South poles and are at opposite ends of magnets. The poles are where the magnetic force is strongest. If the North poles of two magnets are placed together or if the South poles of two magnets are placed together, they will push against each other (repel one another). But if a North pole and a South pole come together, they will attract each other. In this box kit, you will find 4 fabulous experiments that make use of magnets.
